The vision behind KAOS YARN is to inspire you to use colors to lift your mood and give you the courage to express yourself with your colors. The colors in this palette are named by their color psycological qualities and range form calm and subdued natural tones to the very vibrant colors.
Use them alone or mix them to match your mood and personality.
ENVIRONMENT AND ANIMAL WELFARE
KAOS YARN is produced of natural fibres of high quality that are biodegradable and comfortable to wear. All fibres originates from ethical responsible productions, both regarding animal welfare and environmental concerns – this also means no mulesing of animals and no SuperWash treatment of the yarn.
The family owned spinning mill in Peru is Fair Trade certified, ensuring good working conditions for everyone creating this yarn. All dyeing follows European regulations regarding toxic free dyes and environmental concerns.
Printing is certified with the Danish Swan Eco Label and all paper used is FSC certified. Freight packaging is recycled – reused if possible and carefully chosen to minimize the volume during transportation.

KAOS YARN Organic Soft Merino is produced of 100% certified organic fibres from Argentina. The yarn is next to skin soft, knits up beautifully and can be used for all kinds of projects, where you want a luxurious soft result.
ORGANIC BRUSHED ALPACA
25 g = 225 m
Needles: 3-4 mm
Gauge: 16-24 sts
KAOS YARN Organic Brushed Alpaca is produced of 100% super soft certified organic Baby and Suri Alpaca wool. You can use brushed alpaca held together with other yarns or on its own and is a great soft alternative to Silk Mohair.
CHUNKY ANDEAN WOOL
50 g = 100 m
Needles: 5-8 mm
Gauge: 12-17 sts
KAOS YARN Chunky Andean Wool is a single spun yarn made of 100% peruvian highland wool from a natural crossbreed between Merinos and Corriedale sheep grazing in the Andes 2500-5000 m above sea level.
This yarn is a versatile and soft, single spun yarn with a good structure that keeps a good stitch definition also on larger needles. The yarn is suited for both garments and interior projects and can be knit in the round without twisting.
