When we use nature’s resources it is very important that we impact it as little as possible – both in the production, but also in case the product ends up back in nature. By choosing high quality fibres, the yarn will make garments that last a long time and that we love and take good care of – and thereby reduce our consumption.

Wool and animal hair is a natural and renewable resource that fully bio-degrades within a short time in nature. KAOS YARN uses only 100% natural fibres and none of the yarns has the environmentally harmful Superwash treatment. The fibres are sourced from farms where the animals live a free and natural life, without any illness or distress – which naturally means no mulesing is performed!

The family owned spinning mill that produces KAOS YARN is Fair Trade certified – ensuring good and healthy working conditions for all employees and we have a close and trusting collaboration. The yarn is dyed following European guidelines regarding toxic free dyes and environmental concerns.
